What can cause problems during setup and configuration of Tactical Software products?

Make sure that you are logged onto the machine with administrator rights during installation. Modification of the COM port settings may require administrator rights, if administrator rights are required to be able to edit the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE registry on your machine.

If you are unable to open the Control Panel interface, then the software was installed in Administrator Only Mode and you will need to log in as an administrator to configure the software.
