My License Key is not being accepted. What should I do?

If your License Key is not accepted by a Tactical product, please check the following potential problems:

    * Verify the License Key is for the correct product and version being installed. License keys are not compatible across products or major version numbers. (i.e. Version 3.x License Keys can not be used on Version 4.x product). Point releases do not require a new License Key within the same product (i.e. updating from 3.0 to 3.1).
    * Verify that you aren't using an evaluation or timed License Key that has expired.
    * Administrator rights may be required to enter in the License Key.
    * Tactical products work in evaluation mode for 30 days without a License Key. After this time has passed, a License Key is needed to restore operation. If you need more time to evaluate your Tactical Software product, get in touch with your sales representative to discuss an extension of the evaluation period.

If you believe that you have received this message in error, please use the Support Request Form to open a case with our support department.

With your Support Request information, please provide a screen shot that shows all of the following items:

   1. The product you are using.
   2. The License Key that you entered.
   3. The error message that you are receiving.
