How do I configure a Patton 29xx RAS server to work with your DialOut/EZ software?

Page 111 of the Patton Administrator's Reference Guide shows the settings for allowing outbound calls.  Make the following changes in the Dial Out window on your Patton server:

Set the TCP Port to: 7000
Set the TCP Type to: Telnet
Set Restrict to LAN to: Disable
Set Login Technique to:  None

The last two settings can be changed after DialOut/EZ is working, if increased security is desired.

Then, install DialOut/EZ on a PC and create a virtual COM port with it.  In the DialOut/EZ Control Panel, choose this virtual COM port, enter the IP address of the Patton Device in the "IP Address of Server" field and then enter 7000 in the "Port Number" field.Install the Windows Standard 56000 modem drivers on DialOut/EZ virtual COM port and then use this modem device to make phone calls from dialout applications.
