What is a Trace Log and how do I create one?
A Trace Log is a log file that shows all the events and data that passes through our virtual COM ports.
If you unable to make a successful connection, our Support staff will ask for a Trace Log that shows problem that you are seeing
To
create a Trace Log: click the Port Monitor button, click the Trace tab,
check the Enable Trace box, and then start your application that is
using the Tactical Software COM port or modem device. After the
session is over, you can save out the Trace Log with the File | Save As
menu item.
